The "pointer" should be selected after model elements are drawn on the canvas.

Description

I find that once I put a model element on the canvas, the first thing I want to do is resize or move the element. As soon as I click the canvas again, I get a new instance of that same model element because it is still selected in the bottom left.

It would be nice if once I draw a model element, the "pointer" became selected be default.

This is the default behaviour. When I add an item, the default (pointer) is selected after I release the button.

Is a stack trace printed? What item did you add to the canvas?

Reset tool option is back in the diagram menu.
